NY State Museum

17th April - 7th September 2008

Finalists are selected for this international exhibition on the basis of high technical quality, scientific accuracy, aesthetic achievement, and educational value. The selection will be made by a committee of scientists, artists and museum curators and will be announced at the exhibit reception on April 17, 2008. The purchased artwork becomes part of the permanent collection owned by the people of New York state.
